...

Another week of classes is about to be wrapped up. This week class was definitely more serious. Class has become more structured. It’s good to have structure because for me at least it makes learning easier. That said we’ve had a lot of work day to day. It’s been a challenge, but I love challenges. The more work we received the happier I tend to be. I want my Japanese to get better and it has so far. We were given a break (much needed) on Wednesday. According to the director of the program Kazikawa Sensei, every week we will have little homework on Wednesday. This is a good idea because honestly, it difficult to do hw all day then sleep for a straight week. Kazikawa Sensei also bought some medicine and food for a classmate of mine. She’s really been catering to our needs. It’s comforting to have a teacher who actually cares about her students.

great fit

This weekend I have my homestay. I have been paired with a family with seven and five year old boy. I am not nervous about the homestay. I mean worse comes to worse they will hate me. I could live with that. Honestly though, I have good people skills and I’m always polite when I’m a guest. I’m looking forward to the homestay. It means free food. On top of that it is going to be great food compared to my cheese and peanut butter sandwiches. I like kids. I don’t know is Japan has Saturday morning cartoons, but I’ll definitely watch cartoons with them. I’m sure the whole experience will be fun. I’ll fill you in next week.

Oh my...what the hell? haha Miss you and your apparently very bizarre work ethic.
